Something that looks so peaceful can be dangerous if you get too close. Yet, I can't take my eyes away from it, given this particular use is much more beautiful than most. My hands keep reaching for its tips, in a simple gesture to keep 'em warm. What people usually think of as life-threatening can be quite the opposite, especially in this present form.This is the most my soul has been at peace in quite some time, despite the fact I'm currently all alone. It's amazing there's no urge to reach over this moment, and dial that particular number that's embedded in my phone. For one night, sleep will come easy, and my mind will refuse to stray. This one night will serve as a reminder that, despite the difficulties inside, the possibility remains for much more better days.
